About Me

     First of all, let me say I have learned from the very best.  My mother, Bonita Martin, had me playing and singing from a very early age.  If it wasn’t for her persistence and patience, I wouldn’t be doing what I am today and I am so very grateful for her.  

     I have been teaching piano for over 28 years.  I taught at First Academy Preschool  January 2004 – January 2012.  My responsibilities at the Preschool included teaching chapel, teaching 6 music classes ages 2-5, teaching Pre-K keyboard classes and writing and directing FAP’s Christmas and Graduation programs.  I am also very involved in the teaching and music ministries of my church as is my family.  I have 2 children:  Michael is 22 years old, an alumni of First Academy and is the owner of Computer Corner.  Joy is 17 years old and is a Senior at First Academy.  Michael graduated  from First Academy Leesburg in 2012.
